Rumor of Sony phablet with extra large screen display has been widely spread recently. According to reliable sources, this phablet from Sony will be equipped with 6.44-inch touch screen and Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor which is expected to officially debut in July this year.
6.44-inch touch screen
This new Sony device is categorized as Phablet product which is tablet + phone models and will equipped with a large touch screen of 6.44 inches and supports stunning resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. This device also come with OptiContrast and MBE-2 technology to give better display quality.

Snapdragon 800 processor
Nevertheless, the others hardware specifications of this device are also attractive. The overall performance will be more robust with the latest Snapdragon 800 series processor which launched recently on January. Equipped with a quad-core Krait 400 CPU, the Snapdragon S4 Pro processor performance is improved up to 75%. Snapdragon 800 series processors will also further improve process technology to 28 nm HPm technology node, with lower power consumption.
In addition, Sony also provide the device with a large 3GB of RAM and a 32GB storage capacity, support for memory expansion. In addition to LTE network support and stylus function, the device will be having a built-in the 8 megapixel Exmor RS camera and equipped with a 3500 mAh battery.
It is reported that the devices codenamed as “Togari”, body thickness of mere 6mm, is expected to be listed in July this year.
