Sony Xperia Z Review

There is a common practice of Sony to release new product in annual CES event, no exception for this year event. Recently, the news, pictures and hardware specifications are widely spread out. Now, Sony officially unveiled the mystery of this device, followed by another similar product – Sony Xperia ZL .

Between these devices, Xperia Z is equipped with a 5-inch 1080p resolution screen, official assigned to the 5-inch full HD smartphone ranks, together with built-in high performance quad-core processor and angular design.

Xperia Z’s first impression is a standard straight-touch smartphone . Sony Xperia Z has high score in screen resolution and pixel density, but in term of the viewing angle and saturation it is slightly worse than the common 1080p smartphones. Xperia Z screen tilt looked slightly faded as the same as other mainstream Sony smartphone. According to official reports, this phone uses the latest Sony Mobile Bravia Engine 2 performance optimization technology, specialized for users to enhance the contrast of the screen, color, clarity and view of video player or photo. With Mobile Bravia Engine 2 closed, the difference between these two kinds of display performance is extremely clear. But even so, the screen of Xperia Z is still not the representative of the top level of the smartphone.
