Rumored that Google will launch a new generation of Nexus phone through partnership with LG. And yet, a group of photos were leaked to web, claimed to be the LG version of Nexus phone (Model number: E960). The photo shows the phone and LG recently launched flagship phone Optimus G has striking similarities, 4.7″ 1280×768 display with “in-cell” touch panel, equipped with a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Quad-Core CPU, and 13 MP main camera.

The name of the firmware used in the phone shown in the phone is called “Fully Jelly Bean on Mako”, wherein Mako is a shark’s name. Started from G1 era, phones that were developed in collaboration with Google will normally given codename based on the name of fish.    In addition, the picture shows the machine number E960 on the back of the device which match with rumored Nexus device ID detected in the FCC.
