Finally Nokia rebuild its glory in cell phone industry after so many year of market monopoly by Samsung, Apple and HTC. With the releasing of Nokia flagship- Lumia 920, the hope of Nokia to get back to its leading position in smartphone industry should not be a difficult task. From the user’s response, many are willing to give Nokia Lumia 920, latest Windows Phone from Nokia, a try instead of chasing Apple’s iPhone blindly.
Despite of the negative feedback on iOS 6 and lack of innovative in new iPhone 5, Nokia Lumia 920 shows its own advantages against the new iPhone 5 especially in the photo-shooting aspect. Besides of sharing the same 8MP rear camera, Nokia Lumia 920 also come along with the latest optical image stabilization and Carl Zeiss lens, which is normally used in SLR or rangefinder cameras. With the PureView technology, you can now taking bright, blur-free photos regardless of day or night.
As iPhone 5 was released two week ago, everyone just cannot stop from comparing iPhone 5 with other smartphone, Nokia Lumia 920 is one of them to be compared. This act indirectly shows Nokia Lumia 920 is competitive to high-end smartphone like iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3.
In order to prove that Nokia Lumia 920 shall win iPhone 5, Nokia employee Kristina Bjorknas even conduct a low-light camera test. The result show Nokia Lumia 920 performs better in extremely dim condition with brighter and clear picture.
The theory behind is that Nokia Lumia 920 manage to use a slower shutter speed so that more light could be captured by camera sensor. The disadvantage of utilizing such a method is that the photo will be easily blurred with more movement or handshake. Nokia’s image stabilization technology has came into the play to ensure the shutter can open for longer period without distortion from hand movement.
