Before we start, let’s have a brief explanation on how the app actually running in your device. After you completed a task with an app, you will definitely “turn off” the app by using the “back” or “home” buttons on your device. This action is actually not killing the app which it is continue running at the background. Some of you may install some App Killer to kill these apps, but the fact is that this App Killer just killing the app from your eyesight, not at the background.

To know how many apps are actually running in your device (SGS3), simply go to Settings –> Application Managers. Navigate to the Running tab and you can see how many apps running in your device. Try to identify the apps that you really want to kill as you may find out some app likes Google services just cannot be killed. These app are some of the system app which keep your device running, the concept is the same as system service in computer. You can refer to the picture below for better understanding.

I can also do that by ‘holding’ the Home button until the Task Manager screen appears… then kill the respective Apps by sliding them left or right or Clear Memory in the Task Manager..

I believe i have also tried your method, but as you check the memory status in settings, the app will be still running at the background.

Ya.. you are right about that. I believe the best way is a restart of the phone… which should take about the same duration as to stopping each Apps one after another.

LOL! Then I shall say .. I totally agree with you.

The thing is that some apps, like Whatsapp, kick back live after you kill them. Are you going to go into Application Manager and kill the same app over and over?

thanks for info. I know a application called clean master, it’s work perfectly, you only need press once in app’s widget then your phone will be clean and free more memory :)
