There is a news that Apple will be releasing iOS 6 update to its iPhone devices including the 3-year-old iPhone 3GS. This is not the only good news for iPhone 3GS owner where Apple plan to brings a little extra functionality to the device, Apple just reluctant to abandon 3GS, once the most famous smartphone in the market. From previous Apple’s statement, 3GS will not end up seeing support for shared Photo Streams, nor VIP mall features. But as for yesterday’s arrival of iOS 6 beta 3, developer confirms of these features are now available in iPhone 3GS too. It’s indeed a good news for all iPhone users.
If you are Apple fan but were not afford to own latest model of iPhone 4S (perhaps iPhone 5 is coming soon), you can still get iPhone 3GS for FREE now with Maxis data plan of RM50/month.
If you have no special request on the data usage, it still can be considered as a worth purchase with RM 0 for a iPhone 3GS. You can choose Value Plus Internet 50 plan with 250MB data usage or Internet Value Plan 50 with 1.5GB data usage which I think is sufficient for normal surfing purpose.
