If you ever used SoundHound in iPhone or Android, you must know what is a sound search widget for. Yes, it does serve as a searching engine which a small part of the music is needed for it to work. Simply let your smartphone “listen” to the music with unknown name, “What’s This Song” will get back to you with the name of music.

What’s difference between SoundHound and  “What’s This Song” is that it will be pre-installed along the installation of new Android version, Jelly Bean.

Unfortunately, this widget only support Android 3.0 and above which means no luck for Gingerbread and below. I believe there are many performance-improved ROM out there where you can easily upgrade your smartphone to updated version. (Customized ROM for Galaxy Nexus). If you already own the latest Samsung Galaxy S3, then your chance to have this widget installed is getting higher since the news of upgrading S3 to Android 4.1 is spreading now.
